TERMS & CONDITIONS

Definitions:

“We”, “Us”, “Our”, "The Club" – means Loves Football and its employees

 “You”, “Your”- means the person responsible for making the booking on behalf of the child i.e. parent, guardian, sibling

“Class4Kids” – means the booking system and its parent company Class 4 Kids Ltd registered in Scotland under SC458210, N.B. subject to change, integrated into our website at www.lovesfootball.com/bookings

1 - Booking

  1. All bookings must be made via the Class4Kids (accessible via www.lovesfootball.com/bookings)
  2. We operate on a ‘your space is reserved’ basis, and not on a ‘pay-as-you-play’ basis
  3. Trial session bookings must be made and paid for via Class4Kids; note that Trial sessions must be booked and paid for before the session. In the event that you are unable to attend a Trial session, no refunds will be given; should you wish to arrange another Trial session, then you must book and pay for it (i.e. as a separate booking)

2 - Subscription

  1. Payment is made via a monthly subscription, taken by direct bank transfer on the 1st of each month, and applied to the forthcoming month (i.e. payment in advance of the sessions)
  2. By entering into a new monthly period (1st of the month onwards) without completing a cancellation request, you are confirming a) your child's place in the class or classes in that month and b) your agreement to pay for their space(s) in the class or classes for that month
  3. Payments will continue until you inform us that you wish to cancel
  4. Any non-payment will be considered as an outstanding balance which must be cleared before the subscription is cancelled
  5. Assuming there is no outstanding balance, no monthly subscription payments will be taken in August; we will pause them for you, Note that all subscriptions payments will then be automatically unpaused so they are processed as normal on the next payment date (1st September)
  6. In the event there is an outstanding balance, payment needs to be made a direct bank transfer to Loves Football

3 - Cancellation

  1. We require 31 days notice to cancel.
  2. Cancellation requests must only be made via this web page - https:/www.lovesfootball.com/cancellation. No other forms of cancellation will be accepted (e.g. WhatsApp, texts messages, spoken word, email, letter)
  3. No refunds wil be given in the event the subscription has been taken.
  4. In the event a subscription payment is made which is greater than the outstanding balance, a refund will be issued less the costs associated with the refund transaction (5% of the transaction fee)
  5. In the event you raise a dispute via your bank for the subscription payment, our payment provider (Stripe) will issue Loves Football with a £15 dispute charge. Please note should the dispute be resolved in favour of Loves Football, you will be liable to pay the £15 charge

4 - Attendance & cancelled/missed sessions

  1. No refunds will be given, or credits held/offered for missed sessions
  2. In the event the sessions are moved or cancelled due to safety concerns (including but not limited to: lightning, wind, snow, ice, leaky roof, damage to playing surface/arena etc), or school exams, then we will try to offer an alternative session - usually at another time or day, or switching to the pitch or sportshall. This isn't always possible, and you are encouraged to attend other sessions to compensate. Please note that no refund will be given for missed sessions

5 - Weekly session dates

  1. Our weekly coaching sessions will pause during holidays and bank holidays, and will not run on or during these dates:
  • 10th - 18th February (February half-term)
  • Easter holidays - dates TBC
  • 1st May - Bank Holiday
  • 8th May - Bank Holiday (Coronation Day Charles III)
  • 27th May - 4th June (Whitsun half-term)
  • 1st July - Moseley School closed all day (we are open on the 29th July to make up for this closure)
  • 30th July - 3rd September (Summer Holidays)
  • 28th October - 5th November (October half-term)
  • N.B. Christmas closure dates are controlled by the venues we hire from, and are communicated later in the year.

6 - Pricing

  1. All prices are subject to change
  2. Trial sessions cost £5
  3. Registration Fees are £39.99 per child
  4. Monthly cost is £31 (calendar month) with discounts available for multiple bookings
  5. Discounts for siblings and multiple sessions are as follows:
  6. 1 x session per week = £31
  7. 2 x sessions / siblings per week = £50
  8. 3 x sessions / siblings per week = £63
  9. 4 x sessions / siblings per week = £72
  10. Additional discounts available for extra sessions / siblings
  11. Discounts are applied by us after you have signed up for the subscription – note that Trial sessions are not discounted
  12. In the event that your first session with us is ‘mid-month’ (i.e after the 1st of the month), any sessions not paid for will be added to the next payment date (i.e. the next 1st of the month) and will be on a pro-rata basis

7 - Camps

  1. All payments for our holiday camps are subject to a non-refundable 25% deposit, payable at the time booking
  2. In the event of a cancellation by the customer:
  3. Cancellations made up to 31 days prior to the event will receive a 75% refund.
  4. Cancellations made between 14 and 31 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
  5. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event will not be eligible for a refund.

8 - Safety & Safeguarding

  1. It is your responsibility to ensure your child has appropriate clothing and footwear. We have provided a guide at www.lovesfootball.com/wear but this shouldn’t be taken as a definitive list, and you are encouraged to do your own research and seek advice and counsel elsewhere
  2. It is your responsibility to ensure your child’s personal information is up-to-date on Class4Kids (including but not limited to medical, emergency, and allergies)
  3. Whilst we will take every effort to ensure your child is safe, we take no responsibility for injuries and accidents that occur before, during or after our sessions

9 - Data

  1. Loves Football does not hold any personal data relating to you or your child and is only acting in the capacity of ‘user’ to access your data held on Class4Kids
  2. Data held with Class4Kids is subject to Class4Kids terms and conditions and / or privacy policy; Loves Football is in no way involved in how Class4Kids handles your data and we are not responsible for any misuse, accidental or otherwise
  3. We will never share your data with 3rd parties
  4. By registering your child with Loves Football you also consent to receiving periodic email, WhatsApp and SMS communication related to the successful running of our sessions, including (but not limited to) a change of time/venue, cancellation, price change, or marketing material related to new sessions. Whilst you are welcome to opt out at any time we would strongly advise that you keep these lines of communication open, and no refunds will be given as a result of missed information
  5. You have the right to access personal information held by Class4Kids

10 - Behaviour

  1. To ensure the optimum experience for all Parents, Staff and Children in attendance, Parents are requested to refrain from giving instructions or criticism to any Children (including your own) during the session. Words of encouragement and warm applause towards all Children are encouraged
  2. Loves Football will not tolerate any behaviour considered unacceptable, including but not limited to disruptive, negative, confrontational, aggressive, domineering, hostile, argumentative) towards our Staff, other Parents, Children attending the session or hirers (i.e. Staff working at venues). You may receive a warning, be asked to leave the venue immediately or be asked to not return to our sessions. No refunds will be given for any sessions missed

11 - Photography

  1. You are not allowed to take photographs or videos where other children are in the background ("in shot")
  2. Loves Football will occasionally take photographs or videos for marketing purposes. In the event this occurs we will contact you beforehand. This will be in the form of an 'opt-out email' - i.e. if we do not hear from you then we will assume you are happy for your child's photo/video to be used.

12 - Injury

By participating in any activities organised or facilitated by Us, you acknowledge and agree that football, like any sport, involves inherent risks of injury. The Club takes the safety of its participants seriously, but it is crucial for all participants to understand and accept the potential risks associated with the sport.

  1. Assumption of Risk:
  2. You acknowledge and accept that participating in football activities organised by the Club involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, accidents, and property damage. You voluntarily assume all such risks associated with your involvement in Club activities.
  3. Release of Liability:
  4. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the Club, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your participation in Club activities, including but not limited to injuries sustained during practices, matches, events, or any related activities.
  5. Safety Guidelines:
  6. While the Club endeavours to implement safety measures and guidelines to minimise risks, you acknowledge your responsibility to follow all safety instructions provided by the Club. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may increase the risk of injury and absolves the Club from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  7. Medical Conditions:
  8. It is your responsibility to inform the Club of any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may affect your ability to participate safely in football activities. The Club is not liable for any injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.
  9. Parental/Guardian Responsibility:
  10. For participants who are minors, parents or legal guardians acknowledge and accept these terms on behalf of the minor participant. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that the minor follows all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the Club.
  11. Insurance:
  12. The Club recommends that all participants maintain adequate personal health and accident insurance coverage. The Club does not provide insurance coverage for injuries sustained during Club activities.

By continuing to participate in Club activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Disclaimer of Liability section in the Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer, it is advised that you refrain from participating in Club activities.
